Dani is a founding and permanent member of Jaubi, the acclaimed experimental collective from Lahore. As the group’s tabla player, he plays a central role in its distinctive sound, bringing intricate rhythmic tradition into open, contemporary improvisation.

Jaubi have performed at the Barbican Centre and jazz festivals internationally. The collaboration reflects Dani’s ability to honour classical lineage while creating a genuinely new global musical language.
